It is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere originating from old, ungrafted wines. Deep, intense ruby red, black fruit and cassis aromas, with well-balanced aging in oak, great structure and balance, ripe and present tannins, elegant, sophisticated, faithful representative of the authentic expression of our terroir.
The winery is located in the highest part of the Maipo valley. This area is noted for its winemaking tradition and recognized for the quality of its red wines. El Principal`s philosophy is to produce high quality wines that respect and maintain de expression of the terroir. The combination of the soil, the perfect climate and the fine vines, guided by the advice of Monsieur Patrick Leon and chief winemaker Gonzalo Guzmán, have been producing vintages with a unique identity, that fully reflect their own origin.
