Kracher Grand Cuvee Nr.6 2001 375ml
94 pts. Wine Spectator
Refined spiciness supports traces of orange peels and ripe apricots on the nose; the palate displayed delicate milk caramel notes; powerful yet very elegant and harmonious.
The Weinlaubenhof Kracher is located in the "Seewinkel" in the Austrian Burgenland, where, due to the evaporation on the lake, the evening fog and the warm Pannonian climate constantly humid-warm weather conditions prevail, resulting in the Botrytis cinerea, the basis for fantastic sweet wines such as Beerenauslese and Trockenbeerenauslese. Gerhard Kracher continues the winery with the same dedication and dynamism as his father before him.
