August Kesseler Spatburgunder (Pinot Noir) 2007
89 pts. Robert Parker
Soft berries, pleasant tannins and a harmonious finish. Pairs well with gamey poultry and soft to semi-soft cheeses.
The wines are vinified in a cellar, which was beaten in the slate of Assmannshäuser Höllenberg in 1792. In order to transport the terroir of the grapes into each individual bottle, the white grapes are fermented and removed after being pressed gently in stainless steel.
